Duration: 12 Months (With view to go permanent)
Daily rate: €400-€550 per day
We are looking for a Digital Channels Delivery Manager for one of the leading providers of Financial Services in Ireland. The role is to provide support and contribute to architecture decisions for developed solutions.
The type of person we are looking for is someone who is experienced with managing teams of iOS/Android developers, analysts and architects, ideally with financial experience.
Reponsibilities:
*Maximize the capabilities of the team through the provision of ongoing mentoring and feedback to individual team members.
*Ensure all team members are kept informed of business levels, activities and development through regular team briefings, e-mail communication and memoranda.
*Knowledge of development life cycles
*Agile/Scrum methodologies
*Ensure deadlines are met
Experience:
*5+ relevant experience in a similar environment
*Relevant 3rd level qualification
*Experience of delivery of Online Digital solutions in financial services
*Agile/Scrum experience
*Excellent knowledge of Android and/iOS mobile Frameworks, Spring Web Framework and JSF
*Experience in cross-platform/browser development
*OO skills
Skills and Abilities:
*Executes well under pressure
*Excellent problem analysis and creative solution-building skills
*Strong communication skills, both written and oral
*Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Motivated team player, proactive with strong inter-personal skills
*Ability to manage risk in an environment of aggressive timelines
*Skilled in time management
