Digital Application Support Specialist Job

DIGITAL APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for making small application changes and assist TL in track changes/development activity impacting the websites.
- A liaison to the development teams, Infrastructure teams, Data Ops to provide subject matter expertise and acquire expertise in underlying technology, business process, services and data/content interfaces.
- Assisting in analysis, definition and documentation of data, workflow, logical processes, environments, interfaces with other systems and system inputs and outputs within the Digital Marketing application area.
- Work with developers to analyze the components/object/data structure of the Digital applications

Coordinate new systems development to ensure it is consistent and well integrated with existing application systems.
- Ability to assist with analysis and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
- Research and evaluate software with the Enterprise Architecture teams to assist in designing solutions and platforms.
- Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality.
- Coordinate enhancements and maintenance of Digital application systems, as well as structural changes, when necessary.
- Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications to meet needs
- Write and maintain documentation to describe software infrastructure and maintain changes and corrections
- Write documentation or review documentation written by others that describes implementation and operating procedures
- Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications
- Lead in performing architectural reviews for all projects to ensure sound architectures for proposed environment and application
- Ability to triage complex incidents and problem tickets
- Ensure appropriate source code management practices in line with VWGoA's Contineous Integration (CI) methodologies.
- Assist AMS team lead in future capacity planning and forecasting
- Assist AMS Team Lead (TL) in Problem Resolution to ensure operational stability of consumer facing websites
- Ensure proper monitoring are setup and in place by working with tools and technology teams (eg:Vantage, Orian, Dynatrace tools) for operational stability and faster resolution of issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong application support and operations skills specifically in Digital Marketing
- High level of knowledge and experience with Digital marketing processes, software solutions and capabilities (ie: SME)
- Extensive knowledge of innovation and technologies in support of Digital Strategies
- Prior experience developing and implementing Digital strategies and solutions
- Strong application design and development skills
- Prior experience with developing technical design specifications according to development standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various software development methodologies (including Waterfall, RUP, agile techniques)
- Web development experience (utilizing technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, CQ5, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong experience in Digital/Mobile Technology and applications in particular (highly desirable)
- Application and Network Monitoring and Reporting tools experience
- Digital, Mobile and Web Application Architecture design experience
- Experience with working in a project-based environment, liaising with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire solution delivery life cycle
- Experience with Website Design and Development technologies
- Prior experience with Content Management Systems, Data Engines, Behavioral Targeting and Website
- Business/Consumer-facing web applications, Web Services
- Portal/web services design/development desired
- Demonstrated experience in working with external technology vendors and digital agency partners
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe CQ, Mavin, Jenkins, and SVN
- Bachelors Degree and seven (7+) years of experience
