This is an opportunity perfectly geared towards a Digital Analytics Manager with 6 - 12 months experience or a Senior Analyst who is looking to make the step up. The organisation in question are a mid-sized financial services firm who are well respected in the market and have a reputation for trying to do things differently. They are also in a period of growth and they have a very delivery focussed culture, so you will be able to get stuff done. The build of this Analytics capability is very much in its infancy, so you will have the opportunity to build something from the ground up and you will have the flexibility to make this role as broad as you want. The initial stages of the role will involve some heavy lifting in terms of putting in place a new Data warehouse and CRM. There will also be a focus on improving data quality and putting in place some data governance. Stakeholder engagement and management is going to be absolutely critical for this. Youll be dealing with stakeholders right up to CxO level, who have a myriad of other business and transformation challenges to deal with. You will have to gain their trust, understand their business and make sure you deliver what you say you can deliver. The environment is a very supportive and collaborative one, but due to the constantly changing landscape, youll need to demonstrate good flexibility and remain calm and resolute at all times. From a technical perspective were looking to speak to people who have very strong Google Analytics (GA) background, ideally certified. Other Web Analytics packages experience will be considered. You will require some experience setting up and deploying Google Tag Manager and Database / Data warehouse experience. SQL experience would be advantageous but the business will train people up if required.
