Digital Account Director

Our retail client is looking for an accomplished Digital account director for a 3-6 month contract based in West Yorkshire.

The ideal candidate will be well versed with the below:

Responsibilities
*Owns senior to mid level relationships and works to contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day campaign tactics.
*Share responsibility for 100% client satisfaction by proactively identifying risks/opportunities and managing teams to effectively respond to these needs.
*Provide thought leadership to help guide the business in the digital space.
*Acquire and develop long-term relationships with strategic contacts.
*Build strong rapport with new and existing colleagues
*Work with the team to establish effective pricing and staffing levels for the business
*Lead cross-functional teams to achieve strong results.
*Support marketing team through delivering good campaign performances and the achievement of agreed KPIs
*Responsible for completing successful contract negotiations.
*Develop organic growth opportunities from within the group by proving our worth and delivering great work reliably.
*Mentor team and support continuous improvement throughout the organisation; achieve recognisable improvements in the skill level and efficiency of delivery
*Drive success of all performance management initiatives and programmes with an emphasis on the completion of performance review processes.
*Work with managers cross functionally to identify and resolve business issues.
*Lead highly skilled client delivery teams to enhance client relationships.
*Lead in areas such as regular update meetings, on-going communication, etc.
*Maintain low turnover across the agency teams
*Work with senior management on strategic business and employee initiatives.
*Manage resource matters to the best interest of the company
*Develops a broader network of contacts within the organisation and across our suppliers through speaking and publishing.
*Lead positive change and a creative, collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate
*Strong related industry experience, preferably gained in digital, interactive, integrated or consulting agencies.
*Experience in Retail, FMCG or other fast-paced marketing environments.
*Tenacious and persistent with an ability to judge when and where to challenge
*Demonstrated track record of developing senior level relationships.
*Proven experience in managing teams and in working cross functionally across an organisation.
*Strong client service orientation.
*Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
*Track record of leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
*Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines.
*Sound business acumen, strategically strong, and common sense approach.
*Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction to other members.
*Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex subjects in understandable terms.
*Demonstrable ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented.
*Ability to perform in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
*Adept at creating practical solutions to daily business challenges.
*Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
*Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with particular emphasis on digital, strategy, analytics, technology, and new emerging trends.
*Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Nice to have

*Experience of Price 2, Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
*Experience of delivering multi-platform campaigns across digital
*Experience in mobile apps or E-commerce projects
