Diesel Engine Technician

Yoh has a great opportunity for contract DIESEL ENGINE TECHNICIAN to join our client located in the Schenectady, NY area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the operation of a single cylinder diesel engine research facility.
- Maintain the facility and conduct experiments using a variety of performance and emissions measuring equipment including but not limited to:
- Thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters etc.
- Procure parts and materials for lab maintenance and operate compressor systems, preheaters and other flow systems.
- Operation of Data Acquisition software and perform data analysis

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- AS or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree; WILL CONSIDER AS DEGREE WITH FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A MECHANICAL TECH POSITION.
- Three (3) plus years of experience
