DevOps Senior Design Consultant - Specialising in either Jira, Jenkins or Nolio

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Devops Design Consultant with expertise in either Jira, Jenkins or Nolio for a contract based in Cheshire.

This is a specialist DevOps role as we're looking for someone with expertise on one specific tool - either Jira, Jenkins or Nolio. Within that specialist area, you will need to have implementation knowledge and be very hands on with experience across Administration, Self Service Creation, Extension, and Integration

Key Requirements:

- Implemented this tool (Jira, Jenkins or Nolio)
- Experience with onboarding DevOps projects from scratch and be an expert in one of these tools (Jira, Jenkins or Nolio)
- Experience in Jira, Jenkins OR Nolio: Administration, Self Service Creation, Extension, Integration

Skills/Experience:

- Ability to apply complex principles, theories and concepts of the technical discipline and provide solutions to a wide range of complex tasks,
- projects and problems
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with source control systems, preferably git
- Experience using and configuring continuous integration tools (Hudson, Jenkins, etc.)
- Proficient with Java based build systems and related tools (Maven, Nexus, etc.)
- Expertise developing in Java language - Expert with Scripting languages (python, Perl, groovy etc.)
- Strong desire to automate build, test, deployment, and related activities
- Able to collaborate and work effectively across multiple teams with varying skillsets
