DevOps - Node.js - Mobile Apps Dev - Web Service/Social Networking - East Midlands 6 to 12 month contract

This client has a deep history of success across games and apps. The team consists of industry veterans who have occupied studio positions as departmental heads across software, art, design and music, their reputations precede them.

This role is to take ownership of the development of this mobile app's (iOS & Android) infrastructure and social media platform adding and optimising features that are common to Social Networking apps. You will architect, maintain and scale the technical infrastructure that drives it delivering structured and efficient software. Ideally you will have worked in a highly scaled environment for a growing product, building high-availability, fault tolerant systems.

This will be one of the client's first dedicated hires in this capacity, so you will have input into technological decisions, relative autonomy and must contribute both as an individual and as a team member, provding knowledge share as a matter of course.

You must have experience of server based infrastructure development, developing and running a web service.

This is an initial 6 to 12 month contract with an option for a permanent position at the end of it. Rate to £300 day.
