Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a DevOps/Java Developer

Key Requirements:

- The Candidate shall contribute to the validation of the eDossier platform through the implementation of the reference application.
- In addition, the Candidate shall contribute to the validation of the delivery concept by assuming the role of component steward.
- Contribute to architecture and design sessions to establish the overall context for the reference application and to define integration points between the components of the reference application.
- Write the high level design and specifications for the allocated software components.
- These will cover integration, functional and non-functional requirements.
- When relevant, particular attention will be given to interfaces, usability, performance and security.
- Establish clearly defined acceptance criteria.
- Act as a linking pin with the development Team.
- Must have worked on at least one project actively using the technology.
- The project should have been released to production.

Key Experience:

- Experience with guiding/coaching development team(s) will be considered an asset.
- Experience with multi-sourcing delivery environments.
- Expert knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Expert knowledge in the tools which are part of the build and deployment platform (SVN,Git/Bitbucket, HipChat, CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube).
- Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience with JavaScript, Node.js, npm and relatedframeworks.
- Knowledge in the area of Software Containers/Docker.
- Knowledge of ITIL v3.
- Knowledge in Middle-tier (web services, web clients, Back End of web clients, REST, Java/Groovy, JBoss).
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Linux and Shell Scripting (bash).
- Good troubleshooting capabilities.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
