Job Mission
We are looking for a person who has experience with setting up and maintaining these kind of services. The challenge is to move all services and applications to new infrastructure in a new datacenter. The network/infra design in the new DC will be refactored so it's not a 1-on-1 migration in terms of hosts/networking/Firewalling. The next step is to create a disaster recovery environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Coordinate between development and operations ( DevOps )
- Create overview of the existing applications and services by reading documentation, talking to users/support/developers and by analysing code/configuration
- Prepare a risk-based migration strategy to move existing applications and services to a new data center
- Align the planning with the SW development roadmap
- Coordinate changes to existing applications and services to support the new infra design
- Determine a test strategy for existing applications and services
- Initiate pilot tests of the new environment
- Coordinate the migration
- Communicate change announcements to the SW development community
- Define, Prepare and setup a disaster recovery environment

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in the area of supporting a complex software development environment (devops)
- Experience with setting up and managing a multitude of network enabled applications based on multiple operating systems and programming languages - senior
- Infra/IP Networking/Firewalling - senior
- Linux (RHEL) - medior
- Build system/makefiles - junior
- Software development with Agile/Scrum - medior
- Subversion - medior
- Perl - medior
- Python - medior
- Ruby - junior
- Bash - junior

SKILLS

- Experience in setting up and maintaining a cloud-based environment to support software development
- Hands on experience with command line Linux to analyse the existing situation and verify changes
- Experience in coordinating the above-mentioned activities

- Show initiative and problem solving attitude.
- Pragmatic, practical, flexible and committed to quality.
- Read existing scripts in Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash on RHEL6
- Proficient in English.
