Devops Engineer (Puppet or Jenkins or Chef/contentious integration)

A global blue chip multinational Electronics company based in Amsterdam are looking for a Devops Engineer to be a part of their growing team. You will be responsible for liaising between the testing and Ecommerce teams ensuring a smooth transition for current projects. Previous experience running or managing teams is advantages however it is not essential 

Candidates must have experience with Puppet or Jenkins or Chef or other tools focused around hosting automation. In additional you will need experience with contentious integration & delivery.

The successful candidate will be managing and enhancing the production, staging and development environments in collaboration with development, hosting, application support and business teams. You will not only focus on continuous delivery, security, backup, high-availability and system monitoring, but also create and maintain operational documentation related to deployment, search, management and administrative processes. The DevOps Engineer will sit with a business team focusing on delivering my clients next-generation B2B and B2C.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: 

- 2 years experience in DevOps
- Puppet, Jenkins, Chef or others focused around hosting automation.
- Continuous Integration & Delivery
- Strong System Administration or Architecture
- Red Hat

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

- Atlassian Stack
- Previous experience running or managing teams is advantages however it is not essential
