Devops Engineer (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Development of Puppet modules within the workstream team “Deployment Platform Management”
-Puppet based infrastructure refinement to fulfil performance requirements
-Adapt Puppet modules to the needs of two domains with different requirements in terms of configuration data volatility, software quality assurance, complexity and flexibility on context of configuration management
-Participate in the evolution of the CI/CD process in order to cover needs of release management for external and internal SW suppliers
-Change from well-established SW delivery procedures specific for each application to new automated SW delivery framework on enterprise level
-Collaborate with solution architecture (deployment platform, middleware and application engineering) to design and develop CD solution based on Puppet
-Collaborate with software suppliers to define structure and format of the delivery packages
-Collaborate with the current and future users of the automated CI/CD Chain

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-High school computer science diploma or equivalent and certifications in the above mentioned tools and practices
-Proven experience in the DevOps field and in the development of Puppet modules, also on Ruby level
-Development experience, ideally in an agile environment
-Familiarity with continuous integration / continuous delivery based environments
-Technical competency and working experience in GIT/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory
-Strong scripting experience (Windows Powershell, UNIX shell, etc.)
-Excellent oral and written communication in English; French or German skills are a plus
-Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to participate in workshops with domain experts
-Ability to collaborate with team colleagues
-Good stakeholder management and moderation skills
-Experience with tools such as Jira, know-how regarding REST, Java, Python, SQL and knowledge of Tibco BusinessWorks 6 based systems (incl. EMS, Hawk) is beneficial
