Devops Engineer - Linux, Puppet, Jenkins, Chef - Leeds

Square One are looking for a Devops engineer to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Leeds

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Experience of one or more of the following:
- Linux RedHat (Administration and Scripting) and common applications deployments (Apache, tomcat, jboss, PHP, MySQL)
- Windows Server (Administration and powershell Scripting) and common application deployments
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of Virtualisation and/or Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Demonstrable experience of one or more of the following:
- Continuous Delivery practices (eg Puppet, Jenkins, and rapid environment deployment/QA)
- Continuous Integration (SVN, Maven, Jenkins, Visual Studio, TFS)
- Test automation tools and processes (selenium, substeps, junit, code coverage and analysis)
- Packaging, releasing and deploying software systems (Puppet, RPMs [Linux], and/or MSI Windows)

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- ITIL methodology
- PUPPET
- CHEF
- Excellent experience of working in an Agile environment and understanding of the tools used
- Knowledge of change and configuration management in an operational environment
- Experience using Jira, Quality Centre and other commercial development productivity tools
- Any of the skillsets in the Sys Imp role

This is a 6 month contract role based in Leeds looking to start ASAP paying excellent day rates
