Devops Engineer - Germany - Global Company

THE COMPANY

ConSol Partners are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to come on board with our client on a 6 month initial contract. Our client are a global travel company based in Germany (working across both Munich/Berlin) and they have a massive digital programme underway in which they need skilled DevOps Engineers.

THE ROLE

In this position you will need to have an understanding of tools like Chef/Puppet/Ansible. The environment is UNIX/Linux focused as well, but any skills working in a windows environment is beneficial. You will be working in a skilled DevOps team and will work on scaling out services to more users and regions without increasing the support and maintenance load. FULL WORKING ON SITE WILL BE NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE TOO!

THE INDIVIDUAL

- 7+ years' experience within DevOps/SysAdmin/Engineer positions
- Good experience with either Ansible/Puppet/Chef
- CI/CD and full software development life cycle experience
- Extensive experience within Linux/Unix environments
- Be able to learn new techs like Python, Java, C++ etc
- Relational and NoSQL Database experience
