Proteus Europe is searching for 2 External Ops Engineers (ELK) for a contract role based in Brussels, Belgium. This project is looking to run from October (ASAP) until the end of the year 2016.
Our Client :-
Our client is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face). Our clients customers are based in retail as well as private banking clients, as well as small, medium and large enterprises.
Our client employs up to 9,000 IT professionals from the Netherlands and Belgium. All IT specialists in the company have an important role: in a highly complex and dynamic world, the IT people make the bank work.
Your New role :-
Responsibilities
- Supporting a DevOps team to optimize the logging stack
- Implement an alerting system based on logging events
- Perform LCM
- Updating application governance documents and coordinating approval
Activities
As an application specialist in a DevOps team, your role as - Ops- consists of:
- Reviewing the operability of the set-up, suggest and implement improvements
- Assisting in the life cycle management of the components
- Assist application teams in migrating to the ELK solution
- Implement an alerting mechanism based on the logging information
You work according to the Agile/Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices
