DEVOPS ENGINEER - DIGITAL SOFTWARE HOUSE

A up and coming digital start up have multiple head count for DevOps Engineers to work in a heavily Digital/web environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps skills and background.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engineering of web based Infrastructure technologies
- Creation of technical design's for web based Application/Services
- Review deployment documentation for all web based Infra components from App/Dev and ensure it has the correct level of detail to complete the builds.
- Provide a base build for the dev environment for the system and handover to the App/Dev teams
- Build the UAT environment(s) for the system and manage all updates to the web Infra during the migration phase of the system
- Application code deployment and change implementation across the global eCommerce estate.
- Ongoing evaluation and analysis of current web infrastructure to provide optimum performance.
- Liaising with appropriate application development representatives to optimise value to the business.
- Testing of third party software prior to release to the production environment.
- Understanding key concepts on delivering a DevOps Model in an enterprise organisation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Strong experience in web based DevOps
- Experience using DevOps tools such as Chef, Puppet, SVN, Hudson, Jenkins, Cucumber ect
- Strong experience in working in a web and Android/iOS technical environment
