DEVOPS ENGINEER - BELGIUM

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledgeable with Batch Infrastructure, Web Infrastructure, Message Queues
- Extensive experience in automating and maintaining environments:
- Ability to automate deployments, monitoring, backups and disaster recovery
- Ideally with tools like Octopus Deploy, Chef, Puppet
- Extensive experience with Windows 2012 Server, Active Directory and IIS
- Experience with ALM processes, such as source control, branching, build, deployment etc.
- Knowledge and experience in automating tasks through Powershell and Powershell DSC
- Familiarity with Windows Scripting
- Knowledge with Cloud Evolutions
- Experience with providing support to software teams throughout the entire Application Lifecycle
- Hold a sense of programming in C#
- Experience with core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP) and distributed networks
- Experience with Stress Testing of Websites/Services
- Technical knowledge and/or experience with the following is considered a benefit:
- TFS/Visual Studio
- Cloud ervaring (Azure/Amazon )
- Citrix
- Logging tools (Raygun, Splunk)
- Application Performance Management tools (New Relic, AppDynamics)
- Load testing (Load impact)
- Linux
- SOAP (WCF), REST (WebAPI)
- Debugging/profiling and isolating .NET and/or HTML5 applications
- Kennis van Cloud Design Patterns
- Docker for Linux/Windows
- BIG-IP LTM & BIG-IP Web Application Firewall
- Message Queues

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Automating software engineering solutions that answer the administrative needs of various departments and external customers
- As devops, develop and execute projects as well as after-sales support
- Install, configure and maintain large systems that can be operational on-premise as well as in the Cloud
- Work with the complete A-Z setting up of the unified environments (DEV, TST, UAT, PRD)
- Provide the necessary integration with existing systems (AD, Citrix, Database).
- Automate tasks by means of Scripting Powershell/DSC etc.
- Service integrator between the IAAS providers and the customer
- In charge of ALM processes and help development teams in tasks such as release branching, build configurations and deployments
- Administrator of the TFS system and support setting up team projects and specific TFS configuration
- Perform root cause analysis, performance management and application profiling
- Cooperate with your colleagues for the operational management of the systems.
