JOB ROLE: DEVOPS ENGINEER
JOB LOCATION: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Devops Engineer - working with a forward thinking and cutting edge telecom based company with a long reigning global reputation. We are looking for engineers to work amongst technologies which define the forever growing devops industry, where you'll be primarily focusing on open source software and Cloud.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS,
Work with cutting edge technologies
Automation & system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability and security
Strong Linux & troubleshooting skills, automation Scripting
Experience with containers such as Docker or Kubernetes
Reasonable level of fluency in at least on programming language eg Ruby, GO, Python, Groovy
Experience of configuration management tools eg Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef
Experience with Continuous Integration, Delivery & Deployments (Spinnaker, Jenkins, Shell Scripting, Selenium)
Experience in Linux (Ubuntu and CentOS/RedHat)
knowledge of common application Servers and webservers (Apache Tomcat, IIS, NginX)
knowledge of Data Persistence Platforms (SQL and NoSQL)
Use of modern DevOps toolsets (eg Version control, GitHub Jenkins & others)
Knowledge of monitoring (ELK)
Experience working with AWS (secure by design building infrastructure in the cloud)
Knowledge of virtualization and storage
Having a top level view to maintain an overview on multiple tasks
Possessing good communication skills (oral and written)
Great sense of responsibility of tasks and recognition of problems
