Devops Engineer

DEVOPS ENGINEER - CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS (FLEXIBLE) - €50-€90 EUROS PER HOUR (NEGOTIABLE) - GERMANY

Montash are currently engaged with an Ecommerce implementations company based in Germany who are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience of configuration and management of Linux systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical ability with an organised and process driven work ethic in their approach.

KEY SKILLS

- 3+ years of experience with configuration and management of Linux systems.
- Fluent in Java, Python or Ruby.
- Hands on experience in configuration management and deployment tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
- Continuous integration skills using Jenkins.
- Ideally some knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DB such as MySQL, Oracle, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.

You will be working on ensuring the platform exceeds goals for availability, capacity and performance. You will management the production infrastructure including Servers, network infrastructure and database clusters etc and you will be working on performance analysis and service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
