A large scale client of mine based in Amsterdam is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer.

Contract Length: 12 Month

Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the continuous improvement of existing platforms and build new platforms. You will automate everything including provisioning, monitoring and continuous delivery elements. With your contribution, platforms will be scalable and autonomous, releases will go live without any downtime, and platforms are secure. You will develop and automate load/performance tests, penetration tests and functional/smoke tests.

WHAT MY CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the continuous improvement of existing platforms and build new platforms. With your contribution, platforms will be scalable and autonomous, releases will go live without any downtime, and platforms are secure. You will develop and automate load/performance tests, penetration tests and functional/smoke tests.

You will be part of multidisciplinary Agile team together with our clients, and also on site and in 24/7 (stand-by) roles. In pizza-sessions and in knowledge exchange' moments, you will be expected to share your expertise and take an active role in the discussion.

You are capable of, and also enjoy, quickly mastering new technology. You are ambitious, and have a passion for IT. You already share your knowledge, internally and externally, through blogs, Meetups or participating in the DevOps community.
