Devops Engineer

Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for 3 Dev-Ops Engineers.

There are 2 contract to hire and one contract spot.

Position Description:
This person will support Product Development teams through their Scrum (Agile) life cycle and take in-house applications from design to full production rollout. Ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet customer business specifications and support the strategic direction of the enterprise. Engage software developers to design secure, stable, high-performance services. Partner with coworkers and other members of the leadership team to deliver Positively Outrageous Service and fulfil the mission and values of the organization.

The Dev-Ops team is managed within IT and then matrixed to out to have 1 engineer each on 5 Scrum Software Development teams.

MUST HAVE
Puppet (or very strong Chef)
Strong Scripting (Ruby and Shell)
A background in Linux Systems admin with a move into focusing on the dev-ops piece of product development
Well rounded experience to be able to stitch all the pieces together, working with the development teams, PMs, systems admins, DBAs, networking, security, etc
