DEVOPS COGNOS PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR

DevOps Cognos Platform Administrator. One of my Banking clients based in Amsterdam, Netherlands is urgently looking for a DevOps Cognos Platform Administrator for a 6-12 month contract. You will be working in a platform squad consisting of five DevOps engineers. The squad is focused on establishing and managing Cognos Analytics. In addition, you used to give advice to the various users of the BI tooling within our area around frameworks and reporting within Cognos. Next to Cognos Analytics platform capabilities you will work on platform technologies and continuous delivery concepts. Creating a platform by automation and orchestration will be key in your day to day job.

THE DEVOPS COGNOS PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR WILL HAVE:

- Several years of experience with full stack Cognos (Analytics)
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with Scripting languages
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Experience in setting up monitoring with the ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) stack BI tooling
- Leader in engineering skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Well informed of developments in the operations area in the market

NICE TO HAVES

- Experience with informal leadership
- Experience with building frameworks and reports in Cognos.
- Experience with designing predictive monitoring
- Experience with designing predictive capacity management
- Various programming languages, such as Python & SQL.
- Experience with ETL tooling (DataStage)
