DevOps CA RA (Release Automation) Engineer (contract)
The objective of the programme is to optimize the build, test and deployment strategy of different technologies by implementing new processes and supporting tools which follow the DevOps principles. He/she will work on the implementation of CA Release Automation (RA) and integrate it in the existing platform.
English speaking role (French or Dutch highly desirable).
Add technologies to the CA Release Automation (former NolioSoft) platform:
- Work together with different teams/stakeholders to establish the process for adding a new technology to the automated deployment platform
- Implement the process in close collaboration with the concerned team
- Propose optimizations to the process based on your interactions with the teams
- Document the process automation for new technologies, update existing documentation when needed
Manage CA Release Automation infrastructure:
- Validate the infrastructure requirements of the CA RA platform
- Document the infrastructure setup
- Validate and update the CA RA architecture
Evolution of the CA Release Automation platform
- Liaise with IT Group on the evolution of the platform
- Exchange with other entities
Integration of CA Release Automation in the DevOps chain:
- Integrate CA RA with the Continuous Build & Integration Platform and Release Management processes & tools
Continuous Build & Integration Platform
- Contribute to the evolution of the existing platform (Build around Jenkins Enterprise, Maven, Nexus Pro, SVN and GITLab)
High Availability & Monitoring
- Propose and implement the architecture for high availability of CA RA and the Continuous Build & Integration Platform
- Implement monitoring for the Continuous Build & Integration platform and CA RA
