Devops Architect (m/w/d) for Stuttgart

For one of our major customers we are currently looking for a freelancer who meets the following requirements:

Project description:

You should be highly skilled in orchestrating application deployments and adept at the design and leading implementation of complex automation systems and able to act in a thought leadership capacity working with customers with a balanced, consultative approach to identifying value from and using DevOps tools for automation. You need not to be a Project Leader but you are capable of demonstrating technical leadership.

Your primary responsibilities:

Leading and consulting of a complex and agile enterprise DevOps environment
-

Integration and implementation of the AWS services
-

collaborative application development using agile methods and distributed revision control (e.g. Git)
-

Configuration Management
-

Infrastructure Automation

Your Profile:

-

Good project experience in management and consulting in DevOps environments and consulting of complex and agile DevOps environments
-

Important: experience in enterprise environments
-

Proven experience in developing, using and automating Terraform to provide infrastructure on AWS
-

Deep expertise with one of the following CI/CD automation systems: Concourse, AWS Code Pipelines
-

Expert knowledge of a configuration management system (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, SSM)
-

Expert knowledge in Windows and/or Linux operating systems
-

Advanced knowledge of relevant web services, mail, backup and application monitoring
-

Advanced knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, PHP, JavaScript)
-

Good knowledge of data storage systems and compromises in consistency/availability (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra)
-

Good knowledge of network basics
-

Familiarity with Linux containers: usage and orchestration (e, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Fargate, ECS, EKS)
-

Minimum of AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, preferred Professional certified
-

Very good english knowledge, german would be a plus

Location: 60% Onsite in Stuttgart und 40% remote (flexible, upon consultation)

Start: immediately

Duration: 3-6 months
-

Workload: 4-5 days per week for 6-12 months
