Devops and Delivery Architect

Our client a leading international IT services provider who provides integrated design, builds and operates solutions to large multi-national organisations requires a DevOps and Delivery Architect.

As the DevOps and Continuous Delivery architect you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the infrastructure and practices to support the delivery of robust technology solutions.

You will be working closely with the customer, technical team and PM's to deliver the project.

Key responsibilities include: -
. Designing and directing the implementation of Continuous Delivery and Build Pipelines using closed and open source software components
. Leading DevOps within the (clients) product organization
. Advising project leadership on the principles of Continuous Delivery and DevOps. Create high level designs of the software systems based on the Stakeholders concerns, technical context etc.
. Coaching and mentoring junior DevOps professionals
. Driving and supervising technology build, automated test, and deployment activities Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development

Key skills: - - Experience with tooling and practices to support automated build, automated regression test of software, with a focus on software delivery quality improvement and/or development team productivity improvements.
- Experience managing implementations of continuous delivery practices, using DevOps* vision and different aspects of process improvements, ie culture&people, Methods & Techniques, Processes and organisation etc.
- Experience with Architectural design and delivery of IT systems, using Cloud technologies, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.
