DEVICE DRIVER ENGINEER - EMBEDDED LINUX, CAMERA INDUSTRY
A top 20 semiconductor sales leader is looking for a Linux Device Driver Engineer to work on new chipsets to be used in cameras.
You will be involved in design and development of system software components, including device drivers for GPU, Audio, Camera and AV-Codecs subsystems as well as the porting and bring up to a variety of target hardware platforms.
This is a long term project and my client will sign an initial 12 month contract. They are looking for a real superstar contractor and will pay market leading rates to secure them.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Expert in C Very good knowledge of Linux Internals, ARM & Multi-Processor architecture Very good knowledge of Linux Kernel & Device Drivers Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Experience with AV-Codecs like MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264
Experience with Camera subsystem
Understanding Media players & DLNA, UPNP
