We are looking for Device Driver Developer in Leixlip Ireland having experience in Kernel, Linux and  Device Driver Development

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Qualifications
- Honors degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of C programming, especially in developing Embedded or Real Time software.
- Experience in programming for Real Time Operating Systems for Embedded devices.
- Very good understanding of Linux based operating systems architecture and how to optimise for performance.
- Good knowledge of processor technology, especially x86 and/or ARM architecture, and its application.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multisite team.
- Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.

The following Skills would be an advantage:
- Strong knowledge or experience of Intel Architecture and/or X86.
- Previous development experience with Intel processors and development tools.
- Experience in development and debug of Linux Kernel, device driver or user space software modules.
- Knowledge or experience of BIOS development for Intel x86 devices, especially UEFI firmware development.
- Experience of development for Embedded devices, including Embedded peripherals such as I2C, GPIO, SPI, USB, SDIO.
- Knowledge of packet processing and networking technologies, preferably Ethernet, TCP/IP and Security applications
- History of disciplined software development, including agile planning and use of software configuration management tools such as GIT.
