DEVICE DRIVER DEVELOPER (AUDIO, EMBEDDED LINUX/ANDROID, DSP)
Device driver developer with audio, Embedded Linux/Android and DSP required by an innovative fabless semiconductor company based in Leuven. This is a 6 month contract with a rate of €45 to €55 per hour.
THIS IS A POTENTIALLY LONG TERM CONTRACT OFFERING CUTTING EDGE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE AND WORKING WITH CUSTOMERS TO SOLVE INTERESTING TECHNICAL CHALLENGES.
Duties:
Developing and integrating device drivers for Embedded Linux and Android based platforms
Porting audio algorithms onto Embedded portable platforms
Taking part in algorithms design and DSP implementation
Providing customer support
Skills:
C programming for Embedded environments
Embedded Linux or Android
Audio and acoustics (focus on audio device drivers)
Sound processing (general, filtering, etc.)
Knowledge of mobile platforms (TI OMAP, Intel, LSI, STE) and cores (ARM9/11, Cortex M3)
DSP programming (DSP architectures, DSP programming techniques, limitations of DSP processors, validation of DSP implementations)
