Development Operations Manager (Devops)

My client, a unique and entrepreneurial financial services focused organisation has released an opportunity for a Development Operations (DevOps) contractor. The position will be based in their North west based office.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with the following

* Jenkins (CI/CD)
* Puppet/Chef/Vagrant
* Amazon AWS (EC2, Route 53, ELB, S3)
* Redhat/CentOS

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new Greenfield project, working on the rebuild of my client's large scale, well represented website. The key area of focus is to form an efficiently running build and deployment pipeline. The position includes interfacing with many teams across the company, comprising of Service Desk, System Administration, Architecture and Development teams.

We are looking for candidates with a demonstrable desire to succeed, taking the lead, setting an example for others to follow you will be inspirational, and you must be driven by providing outstanding service to customers as well as being passionate about continuous improvement, demonstrating you love what you do.
