Development Manager Stevenage £45-50k

I am currently urgently looking for a Development Manager for one of my key clients based in Stevenage. My client are a world leading professional organisation who are rapidly growing their IT team currently. This is a brand new position for their Product Solutions team.

You will leading a team of 8 developer who will be a mix between c#, java and cold fusion developers.

Experience needed:

Demonstrable experience in leading a development team
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Strong Leadership qualities - previous experience of managing Software Development teams
Experience of Agile Development techniques
Technically expert - this individual is able to function as chief architect or technical lead where required
In particular, experience of Java, .NET, C#, XML, or coldfusion
Experience of managing contractors and third party providers
Experience of the full development lifecycle
An excellent problem solver
Previous experience of running a budget and of negotiation
Personable, driven personality
Able to cope with pressure
