Development Manager

The Company
Our client, a market leader is currently looking for a Front End Development Manager.

You're responsibilities:
The key objectives of this role are to support our client's business across the following areas but not limited too:
* Management of all aspects of the information technology, software development, application support and IT change processes for Life Events Media
* Manage a small team of 2-3 staff for now and up to 10 staff within the next 12 months
* Management of technical operations, software development, application support and change management budgets
* Ensure the day to day operation of IT services in line with service level targets
* Some coding or code review may also be required of you in Front End technologies like Javascript, HTML and CSS etc.

Key skills required:
* At least 4 years experience in managing IT platforms and staff for a performance based advertising company such as search engine marketing, lead acquisition, eCommerce or digital marketing services provider
* At least 5 years MIS (Management information system) experience with broad exposure to computer technologies and project management supervision.
* Attention to detail - especially around product development and testing
* Hands on experienced in Front End technologies - HTML, CSS, Javascript etc.
* Strong API integration and implementation experience
* Unix administrative skills is desirable
* Advanced MySQL Administrative skills (ability to configure MySQL Servers and replication)
* An understanding of Transport Protocols (eg. SOAP & REST) and Schema Definitions
* Experience with the LAMP stack as well as client side technologies such as HTML and Javascript would be highly desirable
* Experience with the Google APIs, especially AdWords is highly desirable
