Development Manager

Our marketing leading client who offer services to the health industry have a need for a Development Manager who can play a key role as the company expands in size

You will have at least 10 years' experience in Software/IT, based on an early career doing hands-on development, followed by at least 3 years' experience in a software development management role. You recent experience will be able to demonstrate a successful and proven track record in managing multiple software development teams.

Candidates will have experience of planning, monitoring, controlling and delivering parallel software projects to time and to budget. Experience of providing line management of staff including appraisals, setting objectives, measuring achievement against those objectives, etc.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of writing software development processes that are suited to the organisation and can realistically be put into practice. Have the ability to be hands-on and get involved in all stages of the development process as and when necessary, including analysing source code, testing the products directly, logging defects, analysing defects and monitoring workload, along the capability to present technical and non-technical subject matters to small and large audiences at all levels.

The role will be based in Cheshire and a salary of c£70000 per annum is available for the right candidate, along with an exceptional benefits package which includes car allowance, healthcare, pension, generous holiday allowance etc.
