Development Geologist

We need a geologist with 10 to 15 years of oil and gas industry experience, a solid foundation of geologic skills upon which we can build, the ability to work as a team member and not solely as an individual contributor, a natural curiosity and desire to learn and quickly learn, an excellent work ethic, and the ability to work a project to completion.

They should have at least an intermediate ability to communicate in English and excellent speaking and writing skills in Spanish. They need to clearly and concisely communicate.

The ideal candidate would have experience with qualitatively evaluating well logs for pay zones. They would have experience picking well locations for development, and could provide reasonable and well thought-out geological explanation for the presence or absence of pay zones.

They should have solid experience using Landmark geological software, and the ability to build static models using Petrel software is highly desirable.
