Development Environmental Support Engineer

Management of the NMD software development environment.

Expected activities:

- Be a key player in the configuration control toolset (Git,Gradle, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus )
- Participate to projects related to the selection and deployment of new tools in the Development Environment.
- Contribute best practices to the configuration and version control processes
- Support developers in using the new development environment and tools
- Implement, support and maintain the configuration and version control system and its integration into the development environment

Skills - must haves

- Solid knowledge with software configuration and version control procedures and best practices
- Solid knowledge in Scripting languages (ksh, Perl)
- Solid knowledge of Linux.
- Good knowledge of Git.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel.

Important:

- Team-work spirit and communication skills.
- Customer oriented and support minded.
- Experience with software development practices with special orientation to Java development and tools like Gradle, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus and Eclipse.

Advantage:

- Knowledge of Clearcase administration
- Experience with specific tools like HP-ALM and SPARX Enterprise Architect.
