Development Engineer - (Javascript)

Our banking client in the Netherlands are recruiting for an experienced Javascript Developers to join them on a permanent basis, however they are willing to explore an initial short-term contract with the expectancy of transitioning to an internal member of staff after 3-6 months.

The client are going through a digital revolution and are looking for strong Javascript developers to assist them with developing their web-based live chat application to assist their customers in speaking with staff online.

As a Development Engineer you are responsible with your team to speed up and strengthen the digital transformation by designing, implementing and supporting their chat application. Their aim is delivery of an innovative Chat application to increase the interaction with their customers.

THE THINGS YOU WILL WORK ON ARE:

Artificial Intelligence and creating solutions on the cloud (Microsoft Azure).

Front End and Back End solutions eg JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript, React), HTML and CSS.

Data models and -structures in Cosmos DB or SQL.

Setting up a CI/CD pipeline.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

YOUR PROFILE:

A Bachelor's level (or in the Netherlands HBO or WO level).

At least 3 years of experience as a Developer, preferable in banking or retail.

Experience with the Agile way of working or Scrum.

Dev-Ops and CI/CD knowledge or mentality.

Strong technical skills and you are able turn business wishes into IT solutions.

An exploratory mindset, on the lookout for new developments in Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Services and Cloud.
