Development Engineer - Engine or Powertrain

I am currently seeking a number of Development Engineers on a contract basis to work with my client in the Milton Keynes area. The contract will be initially for a 6 month period but highly likely to extend at the end of this term.

Role & Responsibilities
My client is experiencing exceptional growth resulting from successful programmes related to next generation engines, hybrid technologies, electric traction motors and the expansion of emission and control systems testing facilities. As such they can offer an exciting and challenging engineering environment for curious and tenacious engineers to push the boundaries of their capabilities whilst working with and for some of the industry's leading minds and practitioners.

As they approach the next stage in their development they have a number of vacancies for Senior level engineers who are experienced in a range of component and system development on modern automotive powertrain systems including engine and hybrid applications.

Ideally, you should have capability in some of the following:

*Engine development and durability test definition and test support
*Electric motor/inverter testing and development either as stand-alone applications or as part of hybrid powertrains
*Performance development & optimisation
*Development testing, data logging (set-up and running) and analysis/post-processing
*Failure analysis and concern reporting/tracking
*Technical report writing
