Development Engineer Electro Magnetic Simulation on Communications Satellite (m/f)

Currently we ar seeking a Development Engineer for Electro Magnetic Simulation (m/f).

Your Tasks:
+ Performance analysis of reflector antennas in particular shaped beams
+ Optimization of antenna gain and XPD for coverage areas
+ Trade-offs to optimize configuration, diameter, focal length, etc.
+ Coverage analysis of low gain TT&C antennas
+ Coupling analysis of antenna farms
+ EMC analysis, calculation of electrical field strength inside of satellite structures (e.g. oversized cavity analysis)
+ Design of advanced antenna systems and preparation of specifications
+ Support of projects regarding accomodation, integration and test of antenna systems from proposal phase up to final system acceptance tests
+ Review of data packages

Your Qualifications:
+ A master degree or PhD in Communication-, Microwave-, Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable qualifications
+ Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. FEKO, GRASP, POS, ADF, MATLAB)
+ Knowledge of satellite technology, preferably antennas and electro magnetic fields
+ Well-developed communication skills and hands-on targets
+ Used to tough project targets and challenges
+ Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time pressure
+ Fluency in spoken and written English
