Development Engineer

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND TRIALS.

A Development Engineer with experience in product development and trials is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in South Wales

This is a 6 month contract working for a UK leading Defence Company.

OVERVIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE.

A Development Engineer responsible for the conduct of Engineering tasks within the Mortar Product and Process Development programme area. Able to Conduct design and development activities on discrete mortar ammunition design projects, Co-ordinate the manufacture of components and ammunition for test and trials purposes, including liaison with Technicians on the Manufacturing processes.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER.

- BTEC (HND/HNC) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge in preparation of technical documentation including specifications and reports.

The role is based in South Wales - commutable from Abergavenny, Ebbw Vale, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Newport, Caldicot, Usk, Chepstow, Monmouth, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypool and Abertillery with excellent access from Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Cheltenham, Gloucester.
