FOR OUR CLIENT IN BASEL, WE ARE SEEKING A DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER:
Start Date: 1st September 2015
End Date: 31st December 2016
Location: Oberdorf, Basel
Languages Required: English & German B2
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Development Engineer for Product Development/Sustaining Engineering
- Consult with client and department heads to define need/problem, conduct research, perform studies and survey to obtain data and analyse problems to advise on/recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles or technology of specific discipline
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consulting with clients/department heads to define needs/problem areas
- Determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution
- Conduct study/survey on needs/problems to obtain data required for solution
- Analyse data to determine solution - eg change of drawings/procedures/processing methodsmodification of machinesredesign of products
- Advise client/department heads on alternative methods of solving needs/problems or recommend specific solutions
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Medical Devices Design/Development will be very advantageous
