Job Description

Working within the combat systems design model team to support development of the CSDM toolset from requirements capture through to product delivery.

Develop Visual Basic Scripts and add-ins to extend Sparx Enterprise Architect functionality via the EA Automation Interface.

Lead on the development of an import and export interface for physical units and properties data.

Liaise with Systems Engineers to clarify requirements and support deployment of the toolset.

Experience:

Essential - Knowledge of UML modelling.
Essential - Knowledge of Visual Basic for applications and VBScript.
Essential - Self-motivation, an enthusiasm for problem solving and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable - Experience with office automation for MS Word and Excel.
Desirable - Experience of Systems Engineering in a Naval Platform arena.
Desirable - Ability to multi-task between multiple concurrent tasks at different stages of the life cycle.
Desirable - Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with a customer focused approach.

The Individual
Essential - Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or an appropriate related discipline.
