Development Engineer

This position is for a Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software for transmission control systems on the Customer's machine product lines and OEM applications. The candidate will be responsible to document Embedded software control requirements, software design, software development, integration of common software libraries modules, integration of source code generated from a code generation tool, laboratory verification of software, and participation of system validation. The candidate will be responsible to develop and maintain software comprised of software written in C and autocode generated from Matlab.

SKILLS:

- Four-year engineering degree, BSEE, BSCE, BSME is required. Candidates with other four-year engineering degrees with experience developing Embedded control software will be considered.
- Must have C coding experience as well as Embedded software experience.
- At least 2-4 years of engineering experience required
- Experience in software development for Real Time systems, C/C++ programming, Matlab/Simulink, and Embedded software development tools and environments are strongly preferred.
- Candidate should have 2 years of demonstrated success developing electronic control systems and/or Embedded software for automotive applications.
- Experience in the application of data links for control and monitoring is a plus.
- Experience with the following software development tools is desired: ClearCase, git, ATI Vision, Code Wright Editor.
- Candidate should have a basic understanding of Control Systems and/or Hydraulic Systems and components.
- 2 Years Intermediate Experience in Embedded systems Preferred
