Development Database Administrator (f/m) for Luxembourg

On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Luxembourg, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

Job Description

- Review of development DDLs requests in request management tool.
- Implementation and roll-out of DDL objects into Oracle database with use of Shell menus and appropriate preparation/maintenance of delivery documentation.
- DDL repository maintenance in versioning tool (merges).
- Support of projects regarding DDL implementation and performance (Sql tuning, fine database tuning).
- Analysis of Oracle features and implementation in projects for future production use.

Qualifications/Required Skills (Mandatory)

- Rational Rose Clearcase knowledge (Versioning tool)
- Unix Shell Scripting experience
- Excellent analytical/debugging skills
- Experience with Oracle 11g (12c a plus)
- PL/SQL, SQL Scripting experience
- UNIX background (Redhat Linux 5.x/6.x)
- Fluent knowledge of English language (working language)
- SQL Tuning experience
- TOAD/Sql Developer

Additional Domain & Business Skills

- Perl, Java, C++
- French language
- Monitoring tools (DBTuner, Enterprise Manager).

Assignment Details:

Location: Luxembourg

Starting date: immediately

Assignment: full-time

Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until the end of March 2015 (optional extension of assignment)
