Development Analyst
Contract: 12 Months
Location: Limerick
Industry: Medical Device
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To perform analysis of raw materials, sub-components and finished goods associated with the HydroSet development projects. This will involve maintaining clear, precise GLP test records.
- To actively participate in new & existing test method development and validation for quality control test methods.
- To participate in the transfer of test procedures from the development team to the manufacturing team. This includes training of analysts in the applicable test procedures.
- To maintain laboratory test/validation records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- To participate in the planning and running of DOE's and test plans.
- To perform trending and analysis of data, and compiling of associated technical reports.
- To participate in brainstorming and problem solving sessions
- To provide assistance when necessary in process/product development trials.
- To maintain appropriate laboratory supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operation of the Biomaterials Test Laboratories.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum Degree in Biomechanical/Life Sciences or related discipline
- Minimum 12 months experience in test method development, validation as per the ICH guidelines, result interpretation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in FDA regulated Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry
- Good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Be a positive, energetic team player, and an advocate for product excellence and quality
