ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
SSIS
Excellent technical skills in SQL Server 2008 Integration Services
Excellent knowledge in SQL and T-SQL
Good communication skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The candidate will be adding value to the engagement if they have one or more of the following:
Experience working in a Energy Utility
Experience working in SQL Server 2012
Experience in SQL Server Database Administration
Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server
Worked in a Support Role previously.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a degree in IT.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for an intermediate level SSIS developer/Support Engineer with 3 -5 years IT experience of which 2-3 of those years having been spent getting hands-on practical experience developing and supporting ETL projects developed using Microsoft SSIS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting a number of SSIS and Data-mart solutions including daily checks,monitoring and incident management
Working on change requests and defects for these solutions.
Providing Quality Assurance of SSIS packages and Data-mart changes.
Transition of new SSIS and Data-mart solutions during 2014
TIMESCALES & COMMITMENT:
The resource(s) will be required for 12 months from 4th November 2013. This assignment entails 5 working days per week.
