Here at Signet Trading Ltd we have a unique permanent opportunity available for a Developer/Applications Support Analyst skilled in the development and support of bespoke and packaged software to join our team at the Birmingham head office. This role will give you exposure to developing and maintaining a number of unique systems utilised throughout our business, tracking managing and communicating the progress of support queries.

About You

Suitable applications must be experienced in the following:

-          Proven commercial experience in the development of AS400 and RPG4/ILE
-          Demonstrable experience of working in a support team or directly customer facing environment.
-          Good problem solving skills
-          Proven ability to be able to prioritise your own workload effectively
-          Demonstrable experience of effectively articulating technical issues to a non-technical audience

Any further experience of working with Quest software, Oracle 9i/10g, PL/SQL, SQL, or JAVA (J2EE) would be of particular interest.
