Developer - Life 400

THE COMPANY:

Our Major client is looking for a Life/Smart 400 Developer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform design and build activities on the banking superannuation, insurance applications - Life400.
* Translating high level solution design into detailed technical
* Perform reviews of technical design and code to ensure quality and compliance to standards
* Perform unit testing of code before delivering into system test environment
* Support defect fixing and resolution during ST, SIT and UAT
* Develop detailed deployment plan

KEY TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:

* Strong Life400/Smart 400 (PAS) system knowledge which includes
* Datamodelling
* XML Messaging
* MQSeries
* SMART400
* Life400 Business Objects
* Life400 Programming
* Strong knowledge and experience in life insurance/superannuation PAS system
* Actively demonstrates a high degree of technical competency in design, process, system integration and conversion.
* Knowledge in banking/finance - superannuation and insurance (Minimum of 8 years Financial Services experience)
* Minimum of 3 years experience in design and development on Life400/Smart400
* Customer focus and good oral and written communications is essential
* Conceptual/Analytical thinking/Data Mapping
* Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills
* Highly organised and able to manage a large number of requests
* Must be a self-starter, with ability to work under pressure
* Must be prepared to share knowledge and experience with others
* Ensures proper analysis of problems and solution design and that correct design techniques/standards are followed thereby preventing rework or schedule slippage
* Requires related work experience in design/analysis, including designing and developing complex solutions from functional requirements
