Developer Java/UI/Groovy/Mule

Yoh has a CONTRACT opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER to join our Client in St Louis, Missouri.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing prototypes and performing complex application coding and programming.
- This position interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications.
- The Senior Software Engineer also analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints.
- In addition, this position performs unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit test scripts.
- The Senior Software Engineer provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.
- This person will analyze, design, develop, test, maintain, document and install standalone and Client Server software applications using Java, Groovy, and Mule.

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Experience collecting high-level requirements from multiple functional teams and convert them into design documents.
- Five (5+) years of experience in JAVA programming language.
- Three (3+) years of experience in SOA and/or Service development.
- Two (2+) years of experience with the Spring Framework.
- One (1+) years of Scripting language experience (Groovy,Ruby,Python).
- Experience in Full life cycle development and end-to-end testing, including test automation.
- Two (2+) years of SOAP UI experience and webservices testing.
- Experience with JUnit testing framework.
- Proficient knowledge of NT/UNIX operating systems.
- Must be able to effectively communicate to various levels of management and with people with varying technical knowledge.
