Developer in Test

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DEVELOPER IN TEST to join our client in Sunnyvale, CA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Our client is looking for a contractor to build advanced automated test suites to exercise multi-media devices. This consultant will work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing. He/She will analyze and decompose complicated software/hardware systems and design a strategy to test this system

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop/maintain current automation framework environment
- Take ownership of automating components of software and develop the scripts in Python/Shell/Java
- Communicate with the Developer and QA teams, adding tasks/Stories into Jira
- Troubleshoot issues and filing bugs
- Set up test environments and work with QA on continuous automated script run
- attend design review meetings and setting up the test plans

Job Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience.
- Good Scripting skills in Python
- Must be highly proficient in a UNIX/Linux environment.
- Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration (Jenkins) environment. Unit Test frameworks
