Developer for Application Monitoring Improvements (m/f)

- To actively support an important strategic project we are looking for senior consultants with a strong background in software development, i.e. application/ tools development
- The working scope comprises:
- Implement improvements & enhancements for existing monitoring, applications & tools
- Enhance and improve existing reports generated by the tools in place
- Knowledge & skill transfer to project team members
- Analyze & assess business requirements
- Development, review & rework of business blueprints & required documentation
- Quality management within the project with a strong software focus
- Project management support with a strong technical focus
- The candidate needs to have an advanced SAP related software developement skill set
- Enhancement of existing ApplicMon solution (in scope):
- HANA extensions
- Performance improvements
- Increase database support (e.g. Sybase ASE, DB2 V10)
- Security feature improvements (e.g. ACL deployment management, hardening development landscape)
- Enablement of next demo cloud (fenced environments)
- Hana Adoption (from BW I&E) Backupmon/FSMon:
- Performance improvements
- Process reliability (SISM - CSS, Backup Config, Backup retention time)
- Saved backups per Client (retention end and billing)
- Process reliability
- Harmonization of agents and agent infrastructure (Backup Agent, Sysmon-Agent/Sysmon Framework)
- Increased automation of manual tasks (e.g. ad-hoc backups, scheduled backup in 7 hours from now)
- The candidate should be strong in -at least- one of the following sets of required programming languages:
- PERL / PERL OO
- ABAP/ABAP OO, ABAP in conjunction with SOAP Web services
- SAP WebDynpro for ABAP, SAP BSP (MVC, HTMLB), Javascript, SAP UI 5, modern Web technologies as for example HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JQuery Experience with SAP PI and/or SAP BW will be an asset
- Operating systems:
- Linux SLES (Suse Linux Enterprise Server) and Windows Server
- IT Service Mgt (ITIL), as well as Project Management / PMO experience will be an advantage
- Project language: German / English
