ABOUT THE CLIENT:
- Our client focuses on a line of business applications delivered over the web (often in Real Time). They have worked mainly in the financial industry and will be doing some projects that will be both web and mobile based. You will be working at their office in Newlands. Flexi-time is possible around core working hours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
ENVIRONMENT:
- A young IT consulting company requires an Intermediate/Senior C# .NET Developer to join their Cape Town office for a 6 month contract (possibility to extend).
- The candidate will be required to develop software and applications using mainly C#, ASP.NET and Client side technologies.
- This is a small company and the candidate must be willing to learn new technologies and be involved in all aspects of software development. The candidate will however be focussed on Client side development.
- This is to be a 6 month contract role.
TO SECURE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 year Degree or Diploma in IT with at least 3 years' software development experience (5 years for the Senior position).
- Solid experience with C# and ASP.NET.
- Good knowledge of Client side technologies (JavaScript, CSS, JavaScript frameworks/libraries etc.).
- Good understanding of Object Oriented Design and coding.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Willing to learn new technologies.
- Disciplined self-starter who can work unsupervised/autonomously in a flexible work environment.
ADVANTAGES:
- Financial industry background.
- Working knowledge of source control.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of Windows Azure.
- Experience in mobile development.
