Developer (C#/.NET/HTML/CSS)

THE CONTRACT IS WITH A CONSULTANCY IN BRUSSELS TO BE ON AN ASSIGNMENT TO A EUROPEAN ORGANIZATION IN DEN HAAG, NETHERLANDS AS FOLLOWS:- PROFILE AND SENIORITY LEVEL OF THE REQUESTED CONSULTANT:

REQUIREMENTS

- Good working knowledge of English

Professional experience:

Essential:

- A minimum of 8 years experience and proficiency in software development;
- A minimum of 5 years experience with .NET technologies (C#); HTML and CSS;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Javascript

Desirable:

- 2 years experience with JQuery; ASP.NET MVC; Unit Testing

Professional knowledge:

Desirable:

Knowledge of in Object Oriented programming;Knowledge of UML as a means for capturing and transferring software design information;
Knowledge of test-driven based development;
Knowledge on design and versioning best practices for web services and how to implement them in a contract first manner;
Knowledge of XML, XML schema and WSDL design; Knowledge of Visual Studio and TFS;
Knowledge of MSBuild as build tool;
Knowledge of iterative development methodology (eg Scrum, MSF);

All of the professional knowledge related requirements (either essential or desirable if applicable) must be demonstrated by at least one recent project/assignment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE STATUS OF THE CONSULTANT

A certificate of good conduct issued by the national authorities of a EU member state not older than 1 month at the date of submission by the Contractor must be presented and accepted
